Compliance and Risk Notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026

This page is for anyone who wants to understand WorkLyft properly: people thinking about applying, employers thinking about listing, and advertising platforms reviewing our adverts. It covers what we do, what we do not do, and how to spot trouble.

What WorkLyft does

We share openings that employers give us, collect applications from people in Australia and introduce applicants to those employers. We do not employ anyone, pay wages or oversee anyone's work. Once you start with an employer, that relationship is between the two of you.

How we are paid

Employers pay us for advertising and introductions. Applicants never pay WorkLyft anything.

What we will not claim

We will not tell you that you are certain to be hired, that an opening is definitely still available, or that you will earn a set amount. We do not publish placement numbers, success rates or star ratings, since nobody outside WorkLyft could check them. If you see those kinds of claims next to our name, let us know and we will get them corrected.

Signs something is wrong

Real employers do not make new workers pay first. If anyone asks for a deposit, equipment, a top-up, credits or a payment to release wages, even using our name, do not pay. Forward it to careers@worklyftly.com.

Ask for it in writing

Before you start, ask the employer to confirm in writing its legal name, what the work is, the rate, the hours and when you will be paid. A WhatsApp message is fine. If they will not confirm, you are free to say no and let us know why.

What we cannot check

We are not a regulator, and we are not an auditor. We talk to employers directly before listing an opening, but we do not inspect workplaces, look into finances or supervise work once it begins. Openings that turn out badly are taken down.

How we write openings

Openings come from what employers tell us. We do not make up pay, overstate the work or make an opening sound more certain than it is. When an opening and an advert differ, we fix whichever is wrong.

Your information in brief

The form asks for your name, age, nationality, gender, city of residence, email address and WhatsApp number. They go to the employer you chose and the providers that run the site, and we keep them for twelve months after your last contact. The Privacy Policy explains more.

Tags on the site

We use Google Analytics (G-8ZXE753F0L) and a Google Ads tag (AW-18233504958) to measure visits and advert performance. Your name and contact details are never included.

Age and right to work

You need to be an adult to apply. Checking your right to work in Australia is the employer's job.

Everyone is treated the same

We forward applications just as they arrive and never screen anyone out because of gender, nationality or background.

Reporting a concern

If an advert, message or employer seems off, send it to careers@worklyftly.com, ideally with a screenshot. A person reads every report, investigates and replies. This page does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988.
