Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 September 2026

Welcome to worklyftly.com. These terms explain the rules for using the site. By using it you are agreeing to them, so a quick read now can save confusion later.

Who runs WorkLyft

WorkLyft operates this site for people living in Australia. You can email us at careers@worklyftly.com, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm AEST. Where these terms say "we", "us" or "our", they mean WorkLyft.

A few definitions

An "opening" is a role listed on the site. An "employer" is the business behind an opening. An "applicant" is anyone who sends our form. An "introduction" is when we pass an applicant's details to the employer they picked.

What WorkLyft is, and is not

We list openings for employers, receive applications and make introductions. We are not your employer. Sending an application does not make you our employee, contractor or agent, and it creates no working arrangement with WorkLyft. Anything you agree after an introduction is between you and the employer.

About the openings

We write each opening from the employer's information at that moment. Employers sometimes fill, change or remove openings before we find out, so we cannot promise an opening is still there, and an introduction is not a job offer.

Applying, step by step

First fill in the form. Then send the WhatsApp message that opens straight afterwards; your application is not complete until you do. If you cannot use WhatsApp, email careers@worklyftly.com and we will take your application by email.

Money only ever flows the other way

WorkLyft does not take payments from applicants. You will never be asked by us for a deposit, a starter kit, credits, coins, a charge to see an opening, or money to release wages. If someone asks you for money in our name, it is a scam, so please report it.

Pay and hours

The employer decides the pay, when it is paid and the hours. Before starting, ask the employer to confirm in writing its legal business name, the work involved, the rate, the expected hours and the payment schedule. Our summaries and phone conversations are no substitute for that.

When an advert and the site disagree

If one of our adverts says something the site does not, tell us and we will fix whichever is wrong. General words in these terms do not cancel out a specific statement in an advert.

Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, the Google tags we use and how long we keep things. By sending the form you accept we will hold your details for those purposes and pass them to the employer you chose.

Using the site fairly

Please do not send anyone else's details without their permission, give false information, try to hack or disrupt the site, copy it with automated tools, or use it to advertise your own business. We may stop processing applications that break these rules.

Our content

The text, design, images and code on this site belong to us or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for personal use, but please do not copy the site or republish its content. What you send us remains yours, and we use it only to introduce you to an employer.

Other companies' services

The form is run by WhatsForm, messaging by WhatsApp, hosting and email forwarding by Cloudflare, and analytics and ad measurement by Google. Their terms apply to their services, and their availability is outside our control.

Keeping the site up

We aim to keep the site available at all times but cannot guarantee it. Maintenance, provider outages or events outside our control may interrupt it.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

These terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If anything here conflicts with such a right, your right comes first and the rest of these terms still apply.

Limits of our responsibility

Subject to your consumer rights, WorkLyft is not responsible for an employer's hiring decisions, an employer's behaviour, wages an employer pays or holds back, or indirect losses such as lost income or opportunities. We stand behind our own conduct.

Spotted an error?

Tell us about anything wrong or out of date on the site and we will fix it.

What we ask of you

Give accurate details, be honest with employers about when you are available, and let us know if your situation changes.

Things nobody can control

Neither of us breaches these terms because of events genuinely beyond reasonable control, such as internet outages, government action or natural disasters.

If one part fails

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part drops out and the rest continues to apply.

The full agreement

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Compliance Notice together make up the full agreement between you and WorkLyft about this site.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws in force in Australia, and you may bring a dispute in the courts of the Australian state or territory where you live.

Who can apply

You need to be eighteen or over and living in Australia. Sending the form confirms both.

Links elsewhere

Links to WhatsApp or other sites are there to help you. We do not run those sites and are not responsible for them.

Notices and updates

Please send notices to careers@worklyftly.com; we treat them as received on the next business day. We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you use it applies, and the date at the top shows the latest update.
